JOB OPENING: Digital transformation coordinator

The Antigonish Affordable Housing Society (AAHS) is seeking a project coordinator to lead organizational change by transforming digital/technological capabilities. The digital transformation coordinator will assess, prioritize and add technology systems while training – and continuously supporting – our people. By the end of the project, our people’s skills, systems and tools will be better able to deliver our mission – as a result, delivering quality, affordable housing in Antigonish.

Do you have experience with and knowledge of organizational change? Systems? Are you a proven leader? Are you highly tech saavy? (A tech ‘native’ who likes helping those who are less technologically competent.) Can you quickly research and resolve problems. Do you have strong self-management and motivation capabilities? Great interpersonal skills? If yes, this job might suit you.

The position will include a mix of coaching and teaching users; assessing needs, analyzing current systems and practices; planning; acquiring software, implementing new programs; developing protocol. The project will implement Google Workspace and select/implement CRM and accounting software The successful individual will multi-task to manage this complex organizational project.

Knowledge and experience in project management, organizational change and technology required. Preference given to those with experience in adult education, groups or training, especially with volunteers. Experience with non-profits, especially re technology, is an asset. Interest in issues affecting housing and poverty elimination is ideal. Sense of humour and patience will be helpful!

The job is full-time, 35 hours/week. (We are open to negotiating a consultant contract.) Annualized salary range $50,000 – $55,000. Employment will end June 30, 2024. Location of work Antigonish. (Open to negotiating mix of virtual/onsite.) Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
