July 28, 2025 — This Friday, August 1, we officially open (some) doors at Appleseed Court — a major milestone in our journey to provide safe, affordable housing in Antigonish.
Over the weekend, a powerhouse team of 9 volunteers joined us on-site to add the finishing touches that help turn apartments into homes. Together, they:
Installed 34 blind safety chains Outfitted 11 bathrooms with towel bars, robe hooks & more Mounted 10 mirrors Twisted in 7 shower curtain rods Prepped 8 washers & 8 dryers Plugged in 13 fridges (and flagged 2 for repair!) Affixed 3 civic address signs…and so much more!
Their energy, care, and community spirit have brought us one step closer to welcoming new residents.
